Recently, Fitzgerald Petersen was hired by Simpson Housing to handle media relations, social media, local partnerships and all planning and implementation for its VIP Grand Opening ‘Reveal’ Party. FPC began work in July 2016 and because of our excellent work/results, we were awarded an additional project for Simpson Housing when they took over 2101 Battery, their apartment building across from Coors Field. Fitzgerald Petersen planned and implemented sponsorships; event management and street team implementation for two months to ‘drum up’ leasing interest with much success.

Fitzgerald Petersen successfully launched SkyHouse Denver, located on the corner of 18th & Broadway across from the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver Uptown, on Wed., Nov. 2nd with a high level VIP ‘Reveal’ Party including VIP’s such as Deputy Denver Mayor Don Mares, Denver City Councilman Albus Brooks and Downtown Denver Partnership CEO/President Tami Door – all secured by Fitzgerald Petersen to make remarks at the grand opening. Leading up to the VIP grand opening event, FPC pitched media tours of the building, resulting in excellent pre-opening media coverage from the Denver Post, Denver Business Journal, Denver InFill, BusinessDen and Denver Urban Review.

Our client contact was thrilled with the VIP ‘Reveal’ grand opening party – with passed canapés, a signature SkyHouse cocktail and sponsorship and attendance from Bravo TV’s Southern Charm cast member JD Madison with his Gentry Bourbon bar and special drink ‘Gentry Spiced Cider.’ The evening is one to remember with meaningful VIP speakers, excellent food, special lighting, photo booth activation, décor that was perfect for the space and a great guest list that perpetuated the party long after it ended through social media!

FPC continues to represent SkyHouse Denver with social media content and management, media relations outreach and introducing the property to the public through strategic party/meeting planning on their 25th floor ‘SkyHouse Deck’ to continue to introduce an influential market to this incredible property, especially around the holiday season! Fitzgerald Petersen continues to handle social media for SkyHouse Denver with creative story ideas, personal stories about star employees, event posts, information about the building with updates regarding completion, etc. Our SkyHouse Denver client contact is very pleased with the social media growth and influential followers during our tenure.

Fitzgerald Petersen was also hired to manage the announcement that St. Charles Town Company will be building a hotel affiliated with Starwood’s Tribute Portfolio in lower downtown Denver to open in 2017. Media coverage was positive even with the controversy that this new hotel would be built in a historic building in an up and coming area of Denver. Fitzgerald Petersen managed counsel with our client and a Denver City Council member, developed press materials, pitched media for proactive stories and secured coverage in the Denver Post, 850AM/KOA Radio, Westword magazine and many others.

Fitzgerald Petersen has handled several high level PR projects for Alliance Residential Company with media relations surrounding the ground breaking, business stories with renderings and rental of Broadstone on 9th, Broadstone Blake Street and Broadstone Gardens at Cherry Creek. Ground breaking events included an appearance by Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, City Council members and other government officials, creative giveaways and excellent media coverage. The client was so pleased with FPC’s work they continued to hire us for each project. Our team also aided in messaging and management of a crisis situation during a project, changing the tone of the media story to one that was much more fair in nature for Alliance.
