Courtney Lis is a senior level PR consultant and has worked in the PR industry for more than 20 years, promoting companies both small and large in Colorado and beyond in industries as varied as real estate, architecture, travel, hospitality, lifestyle, homebuilding, food & beverage, commercial development, private air travel, financial services, and more.

She began her career at Ogilvy Public Relations working on large corporate brands and later was an Account Director at Turner PR, a boutique Denver PR firm specializing in travel and real estate. She prides herself on understanding a client’s goals and helping achieving ROI through strategic PR efforts. Her vast experience includes everything from boutique and meetings hotels, to real estate developments food and beverage and small businesses. She has established and trusted relationships with key media contacts locally, regionally and nationally in all media verticals. She has worked with Fitzgerald Petersen for more than 15 years and has extensive experience with numerous relevant tourism related clients. Most notably, she led the Colorado Wine Industry Board, tasked with promoting 130+ wineries across the state of Colorado and has garnered national acclaim for the region. As such, she works closely with Colorado Tourism Organization (CTO), Visit Denver, the Chamber of Commerce in numerous regions, local government agencies and officials and a myriad of Tourism/Visitor Bureaus to attract people to the region. In addition, she currently represents several hotels, resorts and commercial projects in Colorado that further utilize her relationships with key travel and lifestyle media locally, regionally and nationally including the Magnolia Hotels, Sheraton Denver, Breckenridge Brewery, JLL commercial brokers and many others.

Courtney Lis is actively involved in her local community and is on the board of the National Charity League, involved in the Women’s Foundation of Colorado and volunteers at Food Bank of the Rockies. She lives in Denver, CO with her three daughters, husband and dog Salty where they spend time skiing, cooking and traveling together.
