Since becoming McDonald’s Denver Co-op PR agency of record more than a decade ago, Fitzgerald Petersen has increased the national restaurant’s positive visibility by over 250%. Our opportunities with McDonald’s have spanned large celebrity events like The Williams Sister national tour/exhibition match in Denver and executing a statewide media event for the groundbreaking and opening of the Ronald McDonald House near the Anschutz Medical Center in Aurora. Much like the McDonald’s reputation management work, FPC has provided similar services to Walmart as its Agency of Record for 5 years. All work we do on behalf of Walmart contributes to ensuring that the media include Walmart’s voice and when the media gets it wrong, we don’t sit idly by hoping that people know it’s ‘untrue,’ we make sure it’s corrected through Letters to the Editor, Op-Eds, responses to letters, sit down meetings with editors, etc. FPC is well versed in ensuring that our contacts in the media give Walmart a ‘fair shake’ at telling their side of the story for every story.

Biennial of the Americas

Biennial of the Americas

FPC is proud to represent the Biennial of the Americas, which occurs every two years in Denver. FPC led the September 12th launch of this year’s event with more than 180 national and regional media outlets leading up to the event. FPC was hired for the third time by the Governor’s team after handling all PR and media relations activities for the 2017, 2015 and 2013 events. FPC worked hand-in-hand with the Governor’s Office, Denver Mayor’s Office, Visit Denver, Bonfils Stanton Foundation, Denver’s Museum of Contemporary Art, The Anschutz Foundation and the Biennial Board of Directors, which represents the top major companies and organizations in Colorado. Cirque Du Soleil

Fitzgerald Petersen implemented a very successful media and community relations project for Cirque du Soleil presents LUZIA this summer in June at the Pepsi Center. LUZIA, the fifth Cirque du Soleil show FPC has represented, once again exceeded all ticket sale expectations and the client credited with FPC for great partnership ideas and excellent media relations efforts, with editorial media coverage – many outlets multiple times with virtually every general market, Hispanic and African-American media outlets in Denver and the Front Range! Recently, Fitzgerald Petersen was hired by Simpson Housing to handle media relations, social media, local partnerships and all planning and implementation for its VIP Grand Opening ‘Reveal’ Party. FPC began work in July 2016 and because of our excellent work/results, we were awarded an additional project for Simpson Housing when they took over 2101 Battery, their apartment building across from Coors Field. Fitzgerald Petersen planned and implemented sponsorships; event management and street team implementation for two months to ‘drum up’ leasing interest with much success. More »
